Francisco Javier Rodríguez Pérez

Born in Madrid on 9th May 1986, received the BSc. in architecture at the ETSAG Alcalá de Henares after studying four years, one of which was completed in Poland in the universities Politechnika Gdanska (Gdansk) and Politechnika Krakowska (Cracow) granted by ‘Caja de Madrid’. On 2008, released the auto-produced and short-life ‘aggregator’ magazine ‘The Weekly Plot’ distributed at the ETSAG on a weekly basis.Francisco complemented the bachelor in architecture studies with a one year experience in London working for ‘Austin Smith Lord’ architects and a three months experience working in Cracow for ‘Biuro Projektow Lewicki Latak’.Since 2008, Francisco is the National Contact for Spain of the international students network EASA (the European Architecture Students Assembly), having participated in the past editions on 2008_Letterfrack, 2009_Darfo, 2010_Manchester as participant, tutor and collaborator. As National contact, has participated on the INCMs (Intermediate National Contacts Meeting) on 2008_Nicosia, 2009_Vaduz, 2010_Copenhagen and 2011_Baku. On 2009, won an international competition for the organisation of EASA 2011 in Cadiz together with a group of students of architecture and architects from Spain.Since October 2009, Francisco studies the international MSc. Arch. at Politecnico di Milano. He has complemented his studies with a short working period at IDEArquitectura, architecture office based in Madrid, and has punctually collaborated with the architecture blog ‘Proyecto Sinergias’.

In addition to that, Francisco loves crafting architecture models, likes British music, misses swimming more, enjoys cooking and plans to live and work in a central/northern European country for a while.
